    AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Rather than wasting space on a watch-the-world-go-by lobby, Caesars sends its guests straight into its throbbing 40,000-square-foot casino. This Roman-themed resort—complete with faux flaming pillars, and elevators etched with ancient Roman figures—also attracts a high-energy crowd for its proximity to great skiing, its 1,500-seat headline showroom, and nightclub that shakes until dawn.

Amenity highlights: The hotel’s health club (fee charged), complete with Roman statues and mountain views, includes fitness equipment and massage services such as hot-stone therapy. Guests also enjoy complimentary use of an indoor lagoon-style pool and outdoor tennis and basketball courts. A brisk wedding business, which offers the services of on-site planners, features adjacent indoor and outdoor Roman-themed wedding chapels, and 16,000 square feet of reception and meeting space.

Insider tip: Borges Carriage Rides, a longtime Tahoe tour operator, stops at Caesars during the summer months, offering horse-drawn carriage tours of town and lakeshore. In the wintertime, passengers are bundled in warm blankets in handmade open sleighs for outings through snowy meadows.

Caesars Tahoe offers many resort-style amenities. For the health conscious, the health club (fee charged) features a large selection of weight and cardio equipment, saunas, steam rooms, spa tubs, and massage therapy. Also, guests have complimentary access to the lagoon-style indoor pool and outdoor tennis and basketball courts. Night owls enjoy the 24-hour, 40,000-square-foot casino, headline showroom, and nightclub. Marriages are performed at the hotel’s Roman-themed indoor or outdoor chapels, or elsewhere around the lake, with the help of on-site professional wedding coordinators.
