Driving directions from Reno-Tahoe International Airport: Exit the airport on Plumb Ln. Turn left onto US-395S / Carson City, and drive south for about 31 miles to US-50. Turn right onto US-50, and drive west for about 20 miles to Round Hill. Upon reaching Round Hill, continue south on US-50 for three more miles to resort on right. Airport shuttles and rental cars are the most popular ways of getting from the airport to the hotel. Tahoe Casino Express operates buses that run from the airport directly to the resort, and one-way fares are from $16–$25. Fee subject to change without notice. Car rentals are available online. Winter driving conditions can be hazardous with chain laws often in effect, making the shuttles a popular option. Taxis and limos are also available from the airport to Stateline, and one-way fares for each are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice. Getting around: The Stateline casino district is about one-quarter mile away, and guests often walk there year round. A BlueGo bus stop is located at the hotel. For under $5 per person, BlueGo offers both regular bus routes and on-call, point-to-point shuttle service. Fee subject to change without notice. Arrangements for a BlueGo shuttle pick-up should be made several hours or even a day in advance. Taxis are available at any hour. Also, the nearby ski areas of Heavenly and Sierra Tahoe offer complimentary skier shuttles that pick up at the adjacent BlueGo stop. Alternative transportation makes rental cars necessary only for travel to other areas around Lake Tahoe. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers numerous bike paths.

AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Most of Lakeside Inn and Casino’s value-conscious clients are repeat visitors who appreciate the hotel’s small size and low-key rustic atmosphere relative to the mega-casino resorts down the road. The registration area reflects the updated contemporary mountain lodge-style decor throughout the inn: Wood paneling, wrought-iron chandelier, overstuffed leather chairs, and two-story rock fireplace. Amenity highlights: The casino, located on the second floor of the hotel’s main building, attracts gamblers who prefer a local-style, less flashy setting. Also, the property’s low-slung shingled buildings provide easy, quick access to room and car, a bonus especially during the winter months when guests are lugging snow gear. Those traveling with children appreciate the outdoor pool, video-game arcade, and the family-friendly restaurants.
In addition to its casino, the hotel’s main two-story building features three restaurants, an arcade, small gift shop stocked with sundries, and lobby with fireplace, complimentary newspapers, and Internet access via public pay phone (fee charged). The spa tub is open year round, adjacent to a small heated pool open during the summer.
